Our annual Main Beach’s Next Top Dogel is all about fun for our amazing community. Enter your dog(s) to be in running to be a finalist in one of the categories.

All category finalists will be required to parade down the dog-walk to be judged by our professional judges. Come and enjoy this family fun day!

The 2025 calendar is available for sale now.

Event Details

  • TBA August 2025 at Tedder Ave, Main Beach

    Select one category to enter your dog.

    Alternatively, enter the best trick or owner and dog costume category.

    All finalists must be available to attend on the day

    There will be market stalls and activities with loads of fun, prizes and giveaways!

    I wanted to pass on my thanks to yourself and the amazing Ray White team and the sponsors for organising last weeks Top Dogel.

    It is an event which brings community of all ages together and provides everyone with an opportunity to smile.

    This year my grandchildren joined with me and there was laughter all round. 

    The Ray White team were super efficient as always and it was great to see everyone supporting !!

    It is amazing to see how the event has grown from a few of us in the lane way waiting to twirl in front of the Greek Restaurant !! Gee I wish everyone’s super could grow like that !!

    Dudley and I do appreciate and recognize the huge effort of all involved.

    I express my sincere gratitude for allowing Tail Mates to attend the 2024 Main Beach - Next Top Dogel event. It was a fantastic experience, and we were thrilled to be part of such a wonderful day.

  • No, this is a free community event.

  • In the streets of Tedder Avenue

  • Parking will be limited.

    Public transport via the G-link is recommended. Get off at the Main Beach Station and walk to Tedder Avenue.

    There are a small number of car parks on the rooftops and surrounding streets.

    Please allow time to find a parking spot if you have entered your dog or are coming to see the Bluey Live Interactive Experience.

  • Yes – the event area includes Tedder Ave (between Peak Ave and Cronin Ave), Main Beach. There is a road closure in place along this road for setting up and the safety of attendees.

  • Make sure you check out a range of market stalls. The market stalls will be open from 9-1.30pm with a range of products for sale including dog treats, dog clothing, pet accessories and many other amazing products.

  • Yes – Please see translink timetable here – https://translink.com.au/. Alternatively, taxi/uber/rideshare or make your journey active and walk, ride, scoot or skate to the event. Please plan accordingly.

  • ABSOLUTELY! Attendees can bring their pets as it’s an open space but please ensure they’re in your control and on leads at all times.

  • If you find or lose something – please go to the Ray White Main Beach tent on the day. After the event, any lost property will be kept at Ray White Main Beach office for 21 days.

  • Yes, photographers and videographers may be present and by attending this event, you consent to be photographed, filmed and/or otherwise recorded and to the release, publication, or reproduction of the photographs and/or recordings without restriction or compensation. Attendees who do not wish to be photographed or recorded should not enter the event zone.
